The Web offers many powerful opportunities for filmmakers around the world to connect with their audiences, but it can be a difficult maze to navigate without understanding how to efficiently capitalise on the tools available. This course is centred on an intensive workshop to be held in Brighton in November 2009 and aims to provide filmmakers with the appropriate marketing tools.
Online Marketing for Filmmakers
This two day workshop in Brighton will answer the following questions:
- What is Social Media?
- How can I use it?
- Which resources do I need?
- Which resources do I need?
Participants will build an online promotion and distribution strategy for their current film project by examining both recent trends and established techniques in web marketing. Following the workshop, participants will be supported for three months with one-on-one guidance on the implementation of their strategy.
